HAF Programme

Government-funded holiday camps supporting children and families in the school holidays.

The holiday activities and food programme (HAF) has provided support to children in receipt of free school meals through holiday periods since 2018. Following successful pilots between 2018 and 2020, the programme was rolled out to all local authorities in 2021. This funding has now been extended to 2025.

Who are HAF camps for?

We offer free holiday provision to children who receive free school meals across multiple councils. We also run leadership opportunities for those aged 11 – 16 years old, which can be a great way of developing your child’s skills in confidence-building and coping with life challenges!

What is provided?

We offer a range of organised sports and activities across each holiday, such as tennis, football, netball and athletics. We also offer opportunities to sing, dance and cheerlead with our team of qualified coaches. Each child will receive a free healthy meal as well as nutritional workshops.
