HAF Programme

Government-funded holiday camps supporting children and families in the school holidays.

The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) has provided support to eligible children through holiday periods since 2018. Following successful pilots between 2018 and 2020, the programme was rolled out to all local authorities in 2021. This funding has now been extended to 2025.

Who are HAF camps for?

We offer free holiday provision to children aged 5 – 12 years old to eligible children in Hull (Hull Healthy Holidays), East Riding (Active East Riding), North Lincolnshire (Fuelled) and York.

What is provided?

We offer a range of organised sports and activities across each holiday period, such as tennis, football, netball and athletics. We also offer opportunities to sing, dance and cheerlead with our team of qualified coaches. Each child will receive a free healthy meal as well as nutritional workshops.
