Your child must be primary school aged. Usually this is from 5 to 12 years, however some children start school at age 4. Children must be independent and not require assistance when using toilet facilities. Our cut off is 4 years and 6 months, ideally turning 5 at least two months after the camp.

If you are worried about whether your child will enjoy the camp we can arrange a taster session so that your child can attend the camp, meet the team and experience what we do at our camps. A taster session will allow you and your child to try us out before you commit or pay anything. To arrange a taster you would need to contact our head office on 0330 220 7020

Before attending the camps, you would need to register with us. Here it is best to give us as much information about your children as possible to allow us to give them the best care we can. Once you have registered yourself and your children, you will be able to book on to the camp of your choosing. You will need to clear the balance on your account before attending the camp.

Our wrap around care enables you to drop your child off as early as 8:00am and pick up as late as 5:30pm.

All children are welcome at our camps. However, we are unable to provide 1-1 supervision. We recommend contacting us if you feel your child has additional needs but does not require a 1-1. We can arrange a care plan to ensure we can care for your child in the best way. We can also arrange a taster session for your child to try.

Your child would need to bring a packed lunch with plenty of snacks and drinks. In the colder months, we recommend bringing a coat for when we are outside. In the warmer months, we recommend bringing sun cream, a hat and plenty to drink. We have lots of special events where you may need to bring something extra. Please check the timetable for more details on these.

Each camp has a phone on-site that stays with the head coach. When arriving at the camp, this should be displayed, or you can ask the coach who signs you in for the number. You can contact the camp with this number if needed. Please be aware that the coaches will be busy delivering activities, so if you are wanting to check in to see if your child is okay, please send a text and the coach will get back to you at a break in the day.

You can find the address of the venue in your confirmation email. Camp registration areas are signposted from the entrance to the site.

When you register with Kids Takeover, you are asked to provide a 4 digit pick up pin. If someone else is collecting your child, they will need this code. You will also need to let the coaches know on drop off.
